My teaching is anchored in the premise that technologies are sensory and cognitive environments that reorganize human perception and institutional power. Drawing on Marshall McLuhan’s Toronto School of Media Ecology and the history of science, students analyze emerging technologies—from acoustic media to Large Language Models—as historical epistemological shifts.
